Marymount University Student Sarah James of Potomac Named to National Honor Society

Sarah James of Potomac, MD ( 20854) is among 66 Marymount University students (36 undergraduates and 30 graduate students) recently inducted into the Delta Epsilon Sigma National Scholastic Honor Society. James is pursuing the degree B.A. in Psychology.

To be eligible, undergraduates must have completed 75% of their requirements with at least a 3.5 grade point average (GPA); graduate students must have completed 75% of their requirements with at least a 3.75 GPA. Additional considerations include good character, intellectual activities, and leadership promise.

Delta Epsilon Sigma is a national honor society for students, faculty, and alumni of colleges and universities with a Catholic tradition. It was founded in 1939 to recognize academic accomplishments, foster scholarly activities, and encourage a sense of intellectual community among members. Membership is both a distinction earned and a stimulus for future intellectual endeavors.
